1. Account setup
We’ll create a Phoebe account for your organisation during onboarding. Once that’s ready, you can sign into your account using SSO at https://app.phoebe.ai/. Google OAuth and email + password are supported by default. Let your contact at Phoebe know if you require enterprise SSO such as Okta.2. Install Slack app
After you’ve logged in, visit https://app.phoebe.ai/slack/install and install the Phoebe Slack app by clicking theAdd to Slack button.
You may need approval from a Slack workspace admin - the install workflow will guide you on this.
Once installed, the Slack app will connect to your Phoebe organisation automatically.
Slack channel types
When you add Phoebe to a channel, it will ask you to classify it:| Type | Behaviour |

| Dedicated incident | Entire channel used for one incident analysis |
| Multi-incident | Each thread is a separate incident |
| Alert | Used for alert investigations |
| Other | General purpose (search, notifications) |
Next, configure observability and code data integrations to enable the Investigations feature.Without these, only the Incident Review features are available.
